The Savanna Trail at Upper Cougar Creek is the culmination of several years of plans to create a central park area within the shopping district.  Once constructed, the area will have a trail that meanders through the fields and across the creek.  Seating areas and other amenities will be provided throughout the area.  Eventually, a second phase of this project will include play areas and a gathering (picnic) area.  The project is anticipated to begin construction in the summer of 2024.
