The public is invited to join the City of Austin, City of Sunset Valley and Hill Country Conservancy to celebrate the completion of the Violet Crown Trail – North project. The project team will host a ribbon cutting and celebration on Saturday, July 29th from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at Home Depot Boulevard.
The celebration will include:
- Remarks from elected officials and a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:15 AM
- Live performances from the Crockett Cougar Band
- Complimentary popsicle treats to keep you cool
- A family-friendly bike ride led by Ghisallo Cycling Initiative
- An interactive nature walk led by Hill Country Conservancy
- Kids projects & activities from The Home Depot
