Getting Access to Austin Public Library's Virtual Library with an eCard is easy and convenient.

If you don't have an Austin Public Library Card yet, don't worry! You can easily apply for an eCard and gain access to the library's Virtual Library. Sunset Valley residents can purchase a eCard from APL for an annual fee of $22 , and can apply for a reimbursement from Sunset Valley. In addition to the digital eCard, students who either live in or are enrolled in any school in Travis County – including public, private, daycare, charter, and homeschool – are eligible for a free Student Library Card Account courtesy of Austin Public Library. Click here for more information.
