Home Composting Rebate Program

City of Sunset Valley’s Home Composting Rebate program helps residents to compost at home and reduce the amount of organic matter that enters the waste stream.

POLLUTION REDUCTION
Reduces the amount of waste entering into the landfill.

REBATE AMOUNT
Limited to one rebate per residential household per year.
75% of the before tax purchase price up to $100.00

ELIGIBILITY
Applicant:

• Must be a resident of Sunset Valley

 Composter:

• Any brand or style is eligible. Homemade composters do not qualify.

 CHECKLIST

• Meet all eligibility requirements above
• Buy and install the composter.
• Submit the application within 30 days of purchase and include:
  • Itemized receipts with vendor contact information for the home composter.

• Submit Rebate Application to and all required documents to:

•  Rebate check should arrive within 3-4 weeks
