City of Sunset Valley’s Water Timer rebate helps residents have more control over hose-end watering.  This rebate may be able to be combined with Austin Water’s Water Timer Rebate Program.   Please check Austin Water’s page for more details on their program. 

WATER SAVINGS

• Reduces the chance of overwatering.
• Allows you to water during early morning hours or while you are away.
• Makes it easier to follow the watering schedule.

 REBATE AMOUNT

• Limited to one rebate (for up to two watering timers) per customer, per service address
• 50% of the before tax purchase price up to $40

ELIGIBILITY

• Applicant:
  • Must be a residential customer of Sunset Valley.
  • Have not already received the Watering Timer Rebate at this address
  • Agree to keep the watering timer(s) installed within the Sunset Valley service area
• Watering Timer:
  • Any brand or style is eligible
  • Hose-end vacuum breakers must be used with watering timers
    • You may buy a timer with built-in vacuum breakers or buy the vacuum breakers separately

CHECKLIST

• Meet all eligibility requirements above
• Buy and install the watering timer(s) and hose-bibb vacuum breakers
• Submit the application within 30 days of purchase and include:
• Itemized receipts with vendor contact information for the watering timer(s) and hose bib vacuum breaker.
• Submit Rebate Application to and all required documents to:
