Traffic Management Plan – Sunday, October 20, 2024 – 7 am to 11 am

The annual Daisy Dash Race is just around the corner! Participants will be racing through the streets of Sunset Valley. To ensure a safe race and minimal inconvenience to vehicle travel , the following traffic adjustments have been made:

• Jones Road from its intersection at Lone Oak Trail to Pillow Rd: W/B lane closed. E/B lane to be used for ingress and egress. Police officers will assist with traffic control.
• Ernest Robles Way: Closed to through traffic at 290 Frontage Rd and Sunset Valley Village alley. Police officers will assist with traffic control.
• Sunflower Trail: Police officers will assist with ingress and egress during breaks in line of runners.

On September 24, 2024, City Council issued a Temporary Special Use Permit to Bounce Marketing & Events on behalf of the Austin Runner's Club and Marathon Kids for the event.
