Each year, the City of Sunset Valley hosts its annual ARTFEST to promote local art and create a fun environment for all ages.  2022 marks the 14th year of this free admission, one-day event and a potpourri of live music, original art, children’s activities, food trucks and community spirit. 

The main live music stage will showcase TOMAR AND THE FCs, BEAT ROOT REVIVAL, SHELLEY KING, CROCKETT JAZZ BAND and the BOWIE HIGH SCHOOL STREEL DRUM BAND.  Meanwhile, the kid’s stage kicks off with Mr. Will & The Excavators, The Epic Show and loads of “participatory" fun.

More than 70 local art vendors will exhibit and sell their work in jewelry, oil and watercolor painting, sculpture, woodwork, digital imagery and more.  Local food vendors will bring delicious food direct from the kitchens to the people in a large designated area.

The Home Depot returns to ARTFEST, this time as a platinum level ARTFEST sponsor and will host the ever popular kids DYI workshop.  You bring the kids, we bring the scissors, hammers, materials and fun! 

The Sunset Valley Public Works Department also returns with its popular Adventure Build.
