On Monday, November 11th at 8:30 am, our Sunset Valley Elementary school will honor Veterans for our annual Veteran’s Day Celebration, and we would like to invite all Veterans in our community, including residents and staff of the City of Sunset Valley, who have served/are serving our country to join us that morning for songs and a celebration of gratitude.    

Pictures of the Veterans in our community that we are honoring as well as a little background about them will be displayed at our school.

Julia Goewey Ruiz will stop by on the morning of Friday, November 8th to pick up the completed forms.  Please make sure the picture is labeled with the Veteran’s name, address and phone number if you wish for the photograph to be returned. We would like to invite Veterans and their spouses to arrive at our school on Monday, November 11th at approximately 8 am.  Our school program will begin at 8:30am.  A light brunch will be provided after our ceremony.
