Overview

The City is planning a community based needs assessment of all of the Parks, Greenspaces, and Conservation Areas throughout the City.  This is an opportunity to find out what the recreational needs are for residents and visitors to the City and how the City can meet those needs.  The Parks and Open Space Plan will help create an actionable plan to meet the current and future needs of the community. The City Council has created a Parks and Open Space Ad Hoc Committee to help with this process.

Meetings

The Parks and Open Space Ad hoc Committee have completed their work. The final draft of the plan was presented to City Council on November 15, 2022. City Council approved a Resolution adopting the plan on January 17, 2023.
