The Finance Department is responsible for financial reporting and safeguarding assets of the City of Sunset Valley. The department oversees revenue collections, purchasing, investments, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management, auditing and financial reporting.
The Finance Department also assists the Mayor, Council and Budget & Finance Committee in preparation of the City Budget.
Staff members include the City Accountant and the Utility Billing/Accounts Payable Clerk. The Finance Department reports to the City Administrator.
